Students will listen to a piece of music and draw out their reaction on paper. The drawing will be examined and the student will then choose their favorite portion of the visual art piece to use as a pathway for them to create a dance. Using the Dance Concepts hand out, this rubric and their over-all creativity for ideas and elements, students are challenged to create a small solo study.
