Content	Unsatisfactory The content of the exercise was very weak or non-existent.	Developing The content of the exercise was presented but not thought out or planned.	Proficient The content of the exercise was well planned yet dancer could have chosen different movements to enhance the combination.	Exemplary The content of the exercise was strong and well planned; a true understanding of the assignment was demonstrated.
Teaching skills	Unsatisfactory Proper teaching skills were not used. Dancer rushed, did not attempt to use counts, and was not clear.	Developing Dancer taught using counts but was not clear or did not fit accordingly. Dancer could have used a stronger voice while leading.	Proficient Some proper teaching skills were used but dancer could have gone slower, used 'I go, You go' and other teaching techniques.	Exemplary Dancer taught with great confidence, clear concise counts and used teaching methods such as 'I go you go', taught 4 counts at a time, pace was fluent.
Constructive Criticism/Feedback	Unsatisfactory Dancer was not kind or patient; showed little effort to correct OR offer any feedback.	Developing Dancer gave some feedback but could have given more praise and/or corrections to ensure dancers performing the exercise(s) to the best of their ability.	Proficient Dancer put forth effort while teaching, gave some feedback but did not give constructive criticism to all dancers.	Exemplary Dancer gave necessary criticism and feedback to the group as well as individual. Dancer also made sure to offer praise where deemed appropriate.
