	Unacceptable= D 1 pts	Not Yet Meets Expectations = C 2 pts	Minimally Meets Expectations = B 3 pts	Fully Meets Expectations = A 4 pts	Exceeds Expectations = A+ 5 pts
Knowledge/Understanding	Unacceptable= D The design does not contain each element of design, there is no focal point and the image is not balanced.	Not Yet Meets Expectations = C Each Element is represented in the design to a limited degree, there is an obvious focal point and the image is somewhat balanced.	Minimally Meets Expectations = B Each Element is Represented in the design to some degree, there is an obvious focal point and the image is balanced.	Fully Meets Expectations = A Each Element is Represented in the design to a considerable degree, there is an obvious focal point and the image is balanced.	Exceeds Expectations = A+ Each Element is Represented in the design to a high degree, there is an obvious focal point and the image is balanced. There is no possible room for improvement
Application	Unacceptable= D The Design does not demonstrate good workmanship and effort. It is not complete, and it is extremely messy (extremely smeared graphite or scribbled colored pencil).	Not Yet Meets Expectations = C The design demonstrates limited workmanship and effort. Media has been applied in a hurried or uneven manner. Many smudges, stray marks, and tattered edges.	Minimally Meets Expectations = B The design demonstrates a considerable degree of workmanship and effort to a considerable degree. All media has been applied wit care, but there are several smudges or stray marks on the surface.	Fully Meets Expectations = A The design demonstrates a high degree of workmanship and effort. All media has been applied with precision and care, although there may be some smudges or stray marks on the surface.	Exceeds Expectations = A+ The design demonstrates a high degree of workmanship and effort all media has been applied with precision and care. There are no smudges or extra marks, no possible room for improvement
