Shooting a Basketball
	Poor 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Excellent 3 pts
Balance	Poor Shoulders are not square to basket Feet are too close Legs are not bent> Hips are not lowered Using two hands to hold ball Ball is cupped in the palms of the hand	Good Shoulders are slightly offset to basket One foot in front of the other Knees slightly bent Hips are fairly low Slight balance of ball on shooting hand Ball is slightly raised off of the palm of the hand using fingers	Excellent Shoulders are square to basket Feet shoulder width apart Knees are bent Hips are low Ball is balanced with assistance of non-shooting hand Ball is balanced using the palm and finger pads leaving a space between the ball and the center of your palm
