Content	Poor The blog post presents little or no reflection or insight. However, two point comments may provide important social presence and contribute to a sense of class community.	Fair The blog post lacks at least one of the qualities of a ten point post, but is above average in quality. A three point post makes a significant contribution to your understanding or your learning process, your feedback, and your thinking about the content.	Good The blog post is thoughtful, original, relevant, and provides insight. Ten point posts are reflections on your learning process in the subject area and that also reflect, apply, report, explain, defend, refute, question, self-assess, summarize, synthesize, and analyze your engagement with content. Ten point posts make your are supported by specific references.
Organization	Poor Uses a loosely defined organizational structure that shows minimal awareness of the need for consistency.	Fair Uses a generally consistent organizational structure, with the most current posting listed at the top.	Good Uses a consistent organizational structure that is easy to follow and places the most recent posts at the top of the page.
Creativity & Layout	Poor Effectively uses the blog software’s text formatting capabilities to enhance the content’s visual appeal and increase readability.
