Supporting Details	Core Understands that the supporting details in a paragraph should work together to tell more about the main idea.	Excellent Three or more supporting details are included.	Good Two or more supporting details are included.	Fair One or more supporting details are included.	Poor No supporting details are included.
Observed Basic Writing Convetions	Core Uses basic punctuation correctly.<BR> <BR> Knows and correctly spells level appropriate sight and high frequency words.<BR> <BR> Uses correct verb tense.
