Average

Student shows minimal understanding of text evidence; Student mumbled at times; spoke quietly some of the time; at times lacked confidence; did not answer all of the questions or was ineffective in answering a question; used notes often.
Poor

Student answers only in yes or no answers; was difficult to hear; student was not confident; student did not answer questions; used notes most of the time.
