Meets Standard The student's responses demonstrate critical thought about the text.	Above Standard The student's responses demonstrate superior critical thought about the text. Student response has fully developed ideas.
Use of Examples 4 pts Does the student's response demonstrate the use of supporting examples?	Below Standard Student response does not have any examples to support ideas presented.	Approaching Standard Student response has at least one example to support the ideas stated.	Meets Standard Student has at two examples to support the ideas stated.	Above Standard Student response has several examples which support the ideas stated.
