The student speaks at a fluid, conversational pace with no pauses , breaks, mispronunciations or restarts.

The student has come dressed in a way that detracts from the recitation.

The student has made an attempt at dressing creatively for his or her recitation.
superior

The student has dressed creatively for his or recitation. The costume greatly enhances the performance.
