Energy and Projection	Poor Had little or no enthusiasm during the piece, not entirely audible.	Fair Had bursts of energy, but was not consistent throughout, usually heard quite well.	Good Had no problems hearing the words, the emotions were conveyed effectively.
Diction and Inflection	Poor Could not understand most of the words.	Fair Occasionally words were dropped or mispronounced.	Good Each word was defined and clearly stated.
Focus and Characterization	Poor Did not have a focal point, and did not stay in character.	Fair Nervousness may have prompted them to look away or break character.	Good Used good eye contact and consistently stayed in character. Very believable and made great choices.
Movement	Poor Was either too stiff or too fidgety. Did not characterize well with the character.	Fair Used some gestures and motions, but seemed very forced or uncharacteristic.	Good Joined movements with the text to make it seem very natural.
Memorization	Poor Frequently dropped lines, or backtracked.	Fair Occasionally needed prompting.	Good Needed no help, got through in one try.
