Listening Skills	Poor Was not listening and / or could not follow the step-by-step directions.	Fair Listened and still could not follow the instructions given.	Good Followed instructions as they were given.
Ruler Control	Poor Could not measure using the ruler.	Fair Some assistance needed.	Good Was able to use ruler without any assistance.
Shading Values	Poor Not able to grasp the methods for shading or value.	Fair Learned the various shading methods and was able to create a couple of values using various shading methods.	Good Learned the various shading methods and how to create some areas darker and others lighter.
Class Behavior	Poor Interrupted class regularly.	Fair Interrupted class one or two times.	Good Used class time wisely and did not disrupt others.
Effort / Respect	Poor No effort or respect shown toward this task and / or teacher.	Fair Sometimes was not showing respect and / or effort toward task assigned.	Good Tried to the best of your ability to do assigned task.
