Compare & Contrast Essay Rubric 
Students were to write an essay using their knowledge of the activist group the Young Lords and the character Willie Bodega from their in-class text Bodega Dreams. They were to compare and contrast the two for what the Young Lords actually did for their community and how fictionally they motivated Willie Bodega to help his community.
