Research and Understanding	Beginning Students did inadequate research. Students do not understand their own project.	Developing Students did some research but most information is not in their words. Students show little understanding of their project.	Meeting Students did a lot of research and it is presented in their own words. Students show a clear understanding of their project.	Extending Students did significant research and it is entirely in their own words. Students demonstrate a deep understanding of their project.
Visuals	Beginning Lack of effort is evident, not visually appealing. Product is not relevant to project.	Developing Students put some effort visuals, they are slightly appealing. The product is slightly relevant to the project.	Meeting Effort is evident in a visually appealing product that does not detract from the project.	Extending The students went above and beyond to create a very visually appealing product that enhances the project.
Organization	Beginning Project is difficult to follow and does not articulate new information.	Developing Some effort has been made, but project is still confusing and, at time, difficult to follow.	Meeting Project is well organized and information is clear and well presented.	Extending Group has gone above and beyond to share information in a visually appealing way that is fun to watch.
