Poster and presentation rubric
The students will create a display board to show during their oral presentation. The poster will contain information regarding the researched disease/disorder assigned to them. The group presentation must be aligned with the poster.

The poster is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented. There is at least 100 words more or less than the required amount.
Work quality/effort
Exceeds
The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.
Good
The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Fair
Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Poor
Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Style/Mechanics
Exceeds
The poster is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. Good clear presentation.
Good
The poster has an element of creativity and style, and is not just a list of facts. The poster is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the subject.
Fair
The poster lacks style and reads more like a list of facts than an oral presentation. The poster lacks neatness and clarity
Poor
The poster lacks a clear understanding of the subject matter and their are many errors. Poster is not creative.
Presentation
Exceeds
The student presents the information fairly clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of their information.
Good
The student presents the information clearly and displays a complete understanding of their information. It is evident that the student was well prepared.
Fair
The information presented is not cleary displayed throughout the project
Poor
Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information, it therefore lacks many elements of what is expected.
Group participation
Exceeds
The student participated fully in poster creation and oral presentation.
Good
The student participated fully but was absent during one of the work days.
no effirt made to contribute during absence.
Fair
Some participation but have to be prompted to do so.
Poor
Very little participation
