For Black History Month, students are to research and type biographies on important African-American historical figures from the various career clusters such as Science and Technology, the Arts, Business, Education, Health Sciences, Government and Public Administration, Law, and Architecture and Construction. These biographies include information on the person's early life, what lead them to their chosen career or purpose, what contributions they made to society, 3-5 interesting or unique facts about the person, and the students own reflections about the person and their contributions.
