Sifaatul Huruf and Makhraj	Beginner Confusion between some letters to not knowing any sound of letters.	Intermediate Some mistakes revolving around close makhraj letters such as the ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Overall letters pronounced correctly	Good Good pronunciation with minimal similarities can be heard from similar makhraj letters. Minimal to no mistakes in projecting letters.	Excellent Distinguished sound of letters, no similarities of pronunciation between all letters. Excellent projection of letters with the correct rules of thick or thin sounding.
Short and Long Vowel with Marks	Beginner Confusion between the marks, including the short and long vowels.	Intermediate Some mistakes in short and long vowel reading. Some mistakes for all of the marks.	Good Minimal to no mistakes for all marks. Minimal to no mistakes for short and long vowel.	Excellent Perfect distinguished of all marks. Perfect short and long vowel with no mistakes.
Ghunnah Rules	Beginner No Ghunnah at all or randomly put Ghunnah to a wrong place.	Intermediate Some mistakes revolving the Ghunnah projections, to no sound of Ghunnah.	Good Minimal to no mistakes in pronunciation of all of the rules in Ghunnah. Some mistakes or imperfection in projecting the sound of Ghunnah, but still recognizable as Ghunnah.	Excellent Excellent pronunciation of Nuun Saakinah/ tanwin and Miim Saakinah in all of its rules ( close to perfect) from clear (Izhar) imperfect nuun (ikhfaa') and insertion (idghaam) to transforming (iqlaab)
Extra Long Vowel Rules	Beginner No extra long vowels and confused length of vowels.	Intermediate Constantly skipping the extra long vowel but still reading the correct short vowels.	Good Inconstant reading of length for some Mudud and minimal to no mistakes of reading them.	Excellent Distinguished long vowels each time, constantly the same length for respective rules.
