Completeness Enter description	Poor Assignment is missing more than one fact or does not contain a drawing.	Fair Assignment is mostly complete. Student may have left out a fact or did not complete the drawing.	Good Assignment is complete. Student wrote 3 facts and drew a picture of a mammal.
Neatness Enter description	Poor Assignment is not neat. Drawing may not be colored. Writing may be sloppy, without attention to handwriting guidelines.	Fair Assignment is mostly neat. Drawing may not be colored or may be colored somewhat neatly. Some writing may not be written within the handwriting guidelines.	Good Assignment is neat. The drawing is neat and colored. The handwriting is neat. Student writes according to the sky, mid, and grass lines.
Conventions Enter description	Poor Assignment includes many capitalization or punctuation errors. Student may not write from left to right. Proper finger spacing is limited.	Fair Assignment is written with up to two capitalization or punctuation mistakes. Student may not start at the proper place. Proper finger spacing may be lacking at times.
