Presentation has a pause less than five seconds.<BR>
Student used vocabulary and verbs well in his / her lesson.
Fair

Student could have practiced more. It had either short or long pauses. Student di not memorize lines. Student used vocabulary and verbs minimally in his / her lesson.
Poor

Student is prepared and somewhat memorized and rehearsed. Had difficulty carrying out presentation. Obviously not rehearsed. Too many long pauses.
Pronunciation and fluency (Spanish)

Excellent

Student pronounced all the words used in the presentation correctly. Student spoke loudly and clearly with good tone. Spoke fluently, without hesitation or repetition.
Good

Almost all the words used in the presentation were pronounced correctly with the exceptioin of a couple. Student spoke clearly but at times they faded out. Spoke somewhat fluently with some hesitation or repetition.
Fair

Some words used in the presentation were pronounced incorrectly. Student was hard to hear. Lacking fluency - spoke with too much hesitation or repetition.
Poor

Many words used in the presentation were pronounced incorrectly. Student was very difficult to hear. Unacceptable level of fluency- numerous hesitations and repetitions.

Excellent

Student handed in draft on time. Student reviewed material thoroughly. Student demonstrated that he/she knew all of the material well. The presentation was excellent in its visual appeal.

Student handed in draft on time.
Student reviewed material with few mistakes. Student showed that he/she knew almost all of the material well.
The presentation was visually appealing.

Student's draft was late. Student reviewed material with some mistakes. Student knew most of the material well.
The presentation was somewhat visually appealing.

Student's draft was late. Student reviewed material with many mistakes. Student only knew some of the material well. The presentation could have been more visually appealing.

Student was completely focused during presentations. Student demonstrated excellent listening skills during the time presented. The student was focused and caused no distraction to him/herself or to others.
Good

Student was focused most of the time with group. Student demonstrated good listening skills during the time that peers presented. The student was mostly focused and caused minimal distraction to him/herself or to others.
Fair

Student was somewhat focused during presentations. Student demonstrated some listening skills during the time that peers presented. The student was somewhat focused and caused little distraction to him/herself or to others.
Poor

Student was not focused during presentations. Student demonstrated poor listening skills during the time that peers presented. The student was not focused and caused distraction to him/herself or to others.
