Puntuality/Set Up
Poor - Level 1
Student is always late arriving to rehearsal class or does not get up or begin rehearsing within a reasonable time after announcements. (>2Min.)
Fair - Level 2
Student is generally late (2-3 times) arriving to rehearsal class or sometimes does not get up and begin rehearsing within a reasonable time after announcements. (2 min or less).
Good - Level 3
Student is rarely late (1) arriving to rehearsal class, and almost always is up and begins rehearsing within a reasonable time after announcements. (2 min or less).
Outstanding - Level 4
Student is never late arriving to rehearsal class, and is always up and begins rehearsing within a reasonable time after announcements. (2 minutes or less).
Preparedness
Poor - Level 1
Student rarely comes to class with all the appropriate materials including: paper script, binder, pencil.
Fair - Level 2
Student sometimes comes to class with all the appropriate materials including: paper script, binder, pencil.
Good - Level 3
Student usually comes to class with all the appropriate materials including:paper script, binder, pencil.
Outstanding - Level 4
Student always comes to class with all the appropriate materials including:paper script, binder, pencil.
Practice/Memorizing
Poor - Level 1
Student is standing up, moving for brief periods practicing script and shows no evidence of having it memorized.
Fair - Level 2
Student is standing up, moving sometimes practicing script and shows some evidence of having it memorized.
Good - Level 3
Student is standing up, moving repeatedly practicing script and gives ample evidence of having it memorized.
Outstanding - Level 4
Student is constantly standing up, moving practicing script for the entire period and clearly shows evidence of having it memorized.
Attitude
Poor - Level 1
Student is not on task or focussed, always chatting to classmates or disruptive during rehearsal and doesn't participate in listening to feedback from teacher.
Fair - Level 2
Student is sometimes on task and focussed, sometimes chatting to classmates or disruptive during rehearsal and sometimes doesn't participate in listening to feedback from teacher.
Good - Level 3
Student is usually on task and focussed, rarely chatting to classmates or disruptive during rehearsal and usually participates in listening to feedback from teacher.
Outstanding - Level 4
Student is always on task and focussed, never chatting to classmates or disruptive during rehearsal and always participates in listening to feedback from teacher.
Props/Costumes
Poor - Level 1
Student does not put thought and effort into creating or using props, costumes to enhance performance. Student does not take good care of the costume room and green room.
Fair - Level 2
Student puts some thought and effort into creating or using props, costumes to enhance performance. Student takes some care of the costume room and green room.
Good - Level 3
Student usually puts very good thought and effort into creating or using props, costumes to enhance performance. Student usually takes very good care of the costume room and green room.
Outstanding - Level 4
Student always puts excellent thought and effort into creating or using props, costumes to enhance performance.
Student always takes excellent care of the costume room and green room.
