Capture the Flag Capture the Flag The teams objective is to obtain the oppositions team flag from the oppositions fort and return it to their team fort. Students are divided into teams and collectively assign positions (recon, boarder guard, sneaker, and ranger). As a team students must work within the description of their position to capture the flag. Students will also take a written multiple choice exam based on the the positions and rules. Position	Below Basic Student does not stay within he/she positions description.	Basic Student often times stays within their positions description and does as he/she wishes.	Proficient Student is focused and stays within his/her position description most or all of the time.	Exemplary Student is focused and stays within his/her position all of the time.
Active participation	Below Basic Student does not attempt to actively participate in the game and or cooperate with team.	Basic Student tries to actively participate but often times ignores team efforts.	Proficient Student actively participates and cooperate with the team in order to capture the flag.	Exemplary Student is always actively participating and cooperating with teammates in order to capture the flag.
Sportsmanship	Below Basic Student becomes easily upset in the game.	Basic Student rarely displays disruptive behaviors in the game.	Proficient Student demonstrates that the game is for everyone to have fun with no negative behaviors noted.	Exemplary Student always demonstrates that the game is fun and always treats their teammates and competitors with dignity and respect.
