Spanish 3 Preterite and Imperfect Spanish 3 Preterite and Imperfect Students will create an individual script about what they did with their family/ friends during a camping trip/ trip to the beach. It must include vocabulary from Unit 1, the preterite, imperfect, & additional vocabulary/ grammar learned in Spanish 1, & 2. The presentation needs to include:Power Point, or Prezi. The length should be enough for a 5 minute live presentation in class. Script rough drafts are due 11/03/14, final draft is due 11/05/14, & the presentation will be due 11/20/14. Script Create an individual script about what you did with your family or friends during a camping trip or trip to the beach. The length should be enough for a 5 minute live presentation in class. Rough Draft 25 pts Due: November 3, 2014	Excellent The rough draft was turned in on time, and included all of the necessary requirements for the project & presentation.	Good The rough draft was turned in on time, however did not include all of the necessary requirements for the project & presentation.	Fair The rough draft was turned in late, however included all of the necessary requirements for the project & presentation.	Poor The rough draft was turned in late, and did not include all of the necessary requirements for the project & presentation.	Incomplete The rough draft was turned incomplete and/or late.
Final Draft 25 pts Due: November 5, 2014	Excellent The final draft was turned in on time, and included all of the necessary requirements for the project & presentation. Grammar 10 pts The Preterite & Imperfect must be evident in the presentation.	Excellent There were hardly any grammar / spelling errors. (1-2).	Good There were few grammar / spelling errors. (3-4)	Fair There were many grammar / spelling errors. (5-7)	Poor There were numerous errors that made it difficult to understand. (8-10)	Incomplete There were too many errors that made it difficult to understand. (more than 11)
Pronunciation 10 pts Pronunciation & Memorization of the script are essential.	Excellent The student is fluent, pronounces all words correctly. Uses complex ideas, native-like flow of speech, and memorized the script.	Good The student almost pronounces all words correctly with the exception of 1-2 words. Uses more complex language, but with pauses or chunks. Used note cards 1-2 times during the presentation.	Fair The student pronounces some words correctly with the exception of 3-4 words. Uses simple sentences. Used note cards 3-4 times during the presentation.	Poor The student pronounced many words incorrectly, 5-6 words were pronounced incorrectly. Language is choppy and disconnected. Used note cards over 5 times during the presentation.	Incomplete The student pronounced too many words incorrectly. More than 7 words were pronounced incorrectly. Language is not understood well, and/or did not memorize the script.
Creativity & Originality 10 pts	Excellent Great clarity, voice projection, no laughing that obscures scene, speaking in complete sentences. Unique and exciting. Oscar worthy material & creative!	Good Missing one of the previous elements	Fair Missing two of the previous elements	Poor Missing more than 2 elements or you can't understand or hear.	Incomplete Missing more than 3 elements, can't be understood or heard.
Use of Technology 10 pts	Excellent Excellent editing. Different slides flow together naturally. The overall product is very convincing and well thought out.	Good Good editing. There is good flow between slides. The end result is well adapted and convincing.	Fair Adequate editing. Some aspects of the presentation do not flow together well. The end result is convincing but more direction and fluidity is needed.	Poor Poorly edited. Film does not flow/not convincing. Parts are hard to understand or lack structure or direction. Not well thought out.	Incomplete Incomplete editing.
Eye Contact & Overall Presentation 10 pts	Excellent Student demonstrated great eye contact with the audience, and had an exemplary overall presentation.	Good Student demonstrated some eye contact with the audience, and had a good overall presentation.	Fair Student did not demonstrate good eye contact with the audience, and had an acceptable overall presentation.	Poor Student did not demonstrate eye contact with the audience, and/or had room for improvement on the overall presentation.	Incomplete Incomplete/ No eye contact or presentation.
