This Land Is Your Land... In groups of 3 to 4 students they will have a large puzzle board with the five regions of the United States on it. The students are to name each of the five regions of the United States. Then the task is for each member of the group to draw something they would find in each of the five regions and place it in that region. Each student is responsible for contributing at least 1 idea for each region. The idea is to reinforce what the students have learned about the differences between each of the regions of the United States with the lesson based on and around the song and book titled, "This Land is Your Land", by Woody Guthrie and Kathy Jakobsen. This Land is Your Land
	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Needs Improvement 1 pts
Comprehension	Good Student shows a complete understanding of naming each of the five regions of the United States correctly.	Fair Students shows somewhat of an understanding by only naming a few of the regions of the United States correctly.	Needs Improvement Student shows that they need more time to develop an understanding of each of the 5 regions of the United States by not being able to name any correctly.
Organization of pictures	Good Student comes up with at least one individual picture for each of the 5 regions as well as placing each picture in the correct region.	Fair Student comes up with at least one individual picture for each of the 5 regions but not all pictures are placed in the correct region.	Needs Improvement Student does not come up with an individual picture for all 5 regions.
Creativity and Neatness	Good Student tries to be creative with their drawings and colors neatly.	Fair Students rushes through their drawing and does not color their picture.	Needs Improvement Students drawings are not thought out and not clear.
