Understood Quilling Technique	Needs Improvement Several of the quilled papers are falling over.	Acceptable One or more of the quilled papers are at an angle or laying flat.	WOW! Quilled papers are all straight and neatly stacked next to each other.
Neatness	Needs Improvement Glue work was sloppy and/or distracting, several smudges or distracting marks are present and these affect the final project.	Acceptable Glue lines were somewhat distracting, project contains a few smudges or distracting marks.	WOW! Glue lines are narrow and even, project was very neatly created, there is nothing distracting from the intended artwork.
Shapes	Needs Improvement No consistency in size of the quilled shapes.	Acceptable Some consistency in the size of the quilled shapes.	WOW! Quilled shapes are consistent in size and all proportionate.
Overall Design	Needs Improvement Careless work, design doesn't follow the intent of quilling or the overall project requirements of an even and centered design.	Acceptable Okay design, not all aspects are to the best of the student's ability, but still a completed project.	WOW! Pleasing to the eye, overall centered and even design, balanced pattern, good symmetry.
Followed Instructions	Needs Improvement Student did not listen and/or pay attention in order to learn the quilling technique.	Acceptable Student paid attention to the instructions, but proceeded to do what they wanted to do in class.	WOW! Learned and successfully used the quilling technique, great attitude.
