Spanish 3 - Group Presentation 
This rubric is designed for a Spanish group presentation performance assessment in which the students will be presenting a grammar concept from the entire semester. Students will create a presentation demonstrating their understanding of the grammar concept and grammar usage in addition to any previous knowledge they have. Students are being graded both individually and as a group.

3. Grammar

4. Fluency

Student presented a below average demonstration of Spanish fluency. Student stumbled over words and missed or confused lines multiple times. Student's use of note-cards for lines was obvious. It appeared student did not understand what he/she was saying.

Student presented an average demonstration of Spanish fluency. Student stumbled over words and missed or confused lines more than 2 times. Student had to use note-cards for lines often. Student's intonation/expression was often inappropriate.
Good-6-8

Student presented an average demonstration of Spanish fluency. Student stumbled over words at times and confused lines two or less times. Student had to use note cards for lines often. Student's intonation indicating an understanding of what he/she was saying.
Excellent-9-10

Student presented an average to above average performance. Student had few to no issues with fluency.
5. Effort and Attitude

Poor1-2

The student put little to no effort into the presentation and the group grade suffered because of attitude.

The student could have done more to contribute and/or was not showing enthusiasm in front of the class.

The student could have done more to contribute and/or, however was showing enthusiasm in front of the class.

The student was excited and ready to present with a smile! The group benefited from this member!
6. Visuals

Students used 0-1 visuals in their presentation and/or visuals did not contribute to the explanation.

Students used 1-2 visuals and most contributed to the understanding of the presentation.

Students used 2-3 visuals and most contributed to the understanding of the presentation.
Excellent-9-10

Students used 3-4 or more visuals and all contributed to the presentation making it very informational!

The students presented little creativity in their presentation. Students worked together poorly, preparation was unorganized, and/or took away from the overall quality of the work.

The students' presentation was creative and unique, however had room for improvement.
Students worked together with little or no problems, and/or organization was lacking but acceptable.

The students' work was very creative and unique!
8. Participation

Poor1-2

Did not work well within his/her group, and did not bring ideas to their group.
Fair3-5

Not all group members participated according to the task.
Good-6-8

All group members fully participated, however, there's room for improvement.
Excellent-9-10

All group members fully participated and brought ideas to their group.
9. Practice Activity

Poor1-2

No practice activity was provided.
Fair3-5

Practice activity was incomplete and evidenced minimal effort.
Good-6-8

Practice activity was almost complete, but missing some critical elements. Evidence of concerted effort.
Excellent-9-10

Complete practice activity with all concepts included.
10. Time
