Sound Effects Story Sound Effects Story In groups of 4 students will write and perform a short scene using a minimum of 10 sound effects related to their scene. 2 students will perform on stage and 2 will perform the sound effects behind the scenes. Effects Creation	Not Demonstrated Group failed to create any effects for the story.	Weak Group demonstrated little creativity and/or effort in creating sounds, or used fewer than 6 sound effects.	Effective Group demonstrated creative effects that effectively enhanced the story and used the 10 required sounds.	Masterful Group demonstrated powerful creativity to create and employ unique effects and used them artistically and effectively to enhance the story.
Story	Not Demonstrated Group failed to write a story.	Weak Group demonstrated minimal effort or failed to write a complete story.	Effective Group wrote a complete story and demonstrated good effort to be creative and unique.	Masterful Group wrote a creative, unique story that draws the interest of listeners and with effective length.
Production and Delivery	Not Demonstrated Group failed to perform the story.	Weak Group failed to give a full performance or did not include all members.	Effective Group performed story in its entirety and followed directions.	Masterful Group went above and beyond requirements to record and perform the story creatively with both technology and in the live performance.
