Orienteering
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Very Good 4 pts	Excellent 5 pts
Compass Use	Poor The student cannot use the compass.	Fair The student can use the compass but needs outside help.	Good The student can use the compass but needs some reminders from time to time.	Very Good The student is profficient with the compass.	Excellent The student is skilled with the compass and can instruct those of a lower level how to use it.
Knot tying	Poor The student cannot tie any of the knots. They need outside help all of the time.	Fair The student can tie some of the knots, but requires outside help from time to time.	Good The student can tie most of the knots and rarely needs outside help.	Very Good The student can tie all of the knots and rarely needs any help.	Excellent The student can tie all of the knots with no outside help at all.
Communication / Teamwork	Poor The student does not contribute any ideas, strategies or information to the group.	Fair The student will sometimes contribute ideas, strategies or information to the group. But will ignore others.	Good The student will contribute ideas, strategies or information to the group. But will ignore others.	Very Good	Excellent
