Length	Fair Student has written one (1) sentence	Proficient Student has written at least 10 adequate sentences	Advanced Student has written at least 10 or more well thought out complete sentences
Well Thought Out Entries	Fair The majority of entry is incomplete, or does not contain enough information to be a complete thought.	Proficient The student has an entry which is complete, but does not contain enough information to be a complete thought.	Advanced The student has an entry that contains enough information to be a complete thought.
Sentence Structure	Fair Student has several incomplete sentences, or sentences that do not begin with a capital letter and end with punctuation.	Proficient Student has a few incomplete sentences, or sentences that do not begin with a capital letter and end with punctuation.	Advanced Student has no incomplete sentences, or sentences that do not begin with a capital letter and end with punctuation.
Textual Evidence	Fair Textual evidence is not used and quotes do not enhance the claims made by the writer. Quotes are not embedded in sentences.
