Preparation / Memorization Prepared -Thought out	Excellent- Preparation is obvious. Performer know what they are doing.	Above Average Some preparation has taken place. Performer has memorized most of their selection with only minor mistakes.	Fair- Needs Work Parts of the piece were forgotten. It is clear that the piece may not have been thoroughly prepared.	Lacking There is an undetermined amount of practice or preparation that went into this performance.
Cold Read Loudness-Clearness of words	Excellent- Real character and caricature versatility, able to follow director's notes and perform in ensemble setting first time	Above Average With some coaching able to interpret script	Fair- Needs Work With more intense coaching, attempts to follow direction, has potential	Lacking unable to comprehend or execute direction
Vocal Energy and Enthusiasm Excited -Energetic, Understandable, Emotional	Excellent- Performance is energized and exciting! There is some emotion and vocal variation.	Fair- Needs Work Performance is inconsistent in tone, intonation. Overall Performance	Excellent- Performance is Stunning! This actor is convincing, would recommend for a lead role.	Above Average Performance is good, somewhat convincing would recommend for a supporting role.	Fair- Needs Work Some aspects of this performance are good. . Would recommend for an ensemble or chorus role.	Lacking Actor does not appear ready for an onstage performance.
