Following Directions	Proficient Students are able to follow all directions given for experiment/project. Students ask questions to further their understanding.	Good Students are able to follow most of the directions. Students may ask questions to further their understanding.	Fair Students follow few of the directions. Students do not ask any questions.	Poor Students begin working on experiment/project without listening/following any instruction.
Behavior	Proficient Students work quietly and stay on task for the project/experiment.	Good Students talk quietly and stay on task most of the time for projects and experiments.	Fair Students are somewhat disruptive but are able to remain on task.	Poor Students are disruptive and do not stay on task.
Collection of materials	Proficient Students complete the assignment on time. Students completed the assignment fully with few to no errors.	Good Students complete the assignment on time. Students completed the assignment fully with some errors.	Fair Students did not complete assignment on time. Students did not fully complete the assignment or made a large number of errors.	Poor Students did not complete the assignment. Students did not hand assignment in on time.
