Drawing/Coloring of Car	Excellent Student has a strong understanding of basic shapes and how to create/manipulate them to 100% accuracy. Illustration looks very much like the real car.	Good Student is able to create basic shapes and manipulate them to 85% accuracy. Some areas need minor adjustments.	Average Student can draw basic shapes but didn't do much manipulation to match shapes to items found on a car.	Poor Student does not grasp concept of basic shapes and how to create them using basic tools, and how to manipulate/edit shapes to fit various elements on a car.
Realism	Excellent Illustration looks very real, difficult to discern from photo. Could be used in an advertisement.	Good Details are good, but could use minor adjustments. Tweaks needed.	Average Student showed some evidence of realism. Inconsistencies exist.	Poor Student made no attempt to add any extra effects or background.
Creativity / Attractiveness	Excellent The graphics and text used on the design of this project reflect an exceptional degree of student creativity and is attractive in terms of design, layout, neatness, rhythm, etc.	Good The graphics and text used on the project have creativity and attractiveness demonstrating an understanding of design tools but could've been planned better.	Average The graphics and text used by the student are not original, relied to much on ideas taken from other sources or student may not demonstrate clear understanding of layout.	Poor Graphics and text do not demonstrate any original thought or creativity or maybe poorly organized/cluttered.
Final Composite	Excellent Final composite looks like a photograph, as if it were shot that way by a professional.	Good Student followed proper steps and used proper tools. Photo may be acceptable to show a client for a rough draft idea, but needs a little bit of tweaking.	Average Student used proper tools but quality is poor and needs work.	Poor Did not follow steps or use proper tools. Quality is unacceptable.
