Students had to create a composition based on a song or lyric from a song. They had to create a composition that included 15 different areas that were clearly defined from one another. All of the pieces had to relate to the song. Students also had to consider how each space and placement of design within each space related to each other and the whole.
What it takes to finish the project as well as possible, time dedicated to the project inside and/or out of class.

The composition fills the space of the paper. Use of media contributes to the unity of the project.

Artwork should reflect unity. It should have a strong composition. There should be balance among colors, shades, contrast and shape. All the parts of the artwork come together to make perfect unity.
