Fair Information is accurate, but reveals limited or basic understanding of the character. The student somewhat understood the book and its details.	Poor Information provided is general and vague, it does not show an understanding of the book or the character.
Format	Good Diary format very well followed. All entries fulfill assignment content requirements.	Fair Diary format somewhat followed. Most entries fulfill assignment content requirements.	Poor Diary format not followed. Few entries fulfill assignment content requirements.
Writing,Grammar, Spelling	Good Writing has a distinct voice for the character. There are close to no spelling and/or grammar errors. The project is neat and presented thoughtfully.	Fair The student attempted to recreate the character's voice. There are some spelling and/or grammar errors. The project's appearance is somewhat neat, but it is lacking in presentation.	Poor There are numerous spelling and/or grammar errors. The project's appearance is not neat. There has been little or no attempt to portray the character's voice.
