Presentation

Poor

Presentation is disorganized and too brief. If it is a skit, players are ill-prepared and do not know their lines. If it is a Power Point show, slides do not progress smoothly and the message is lost because it is visually unreadable or too cluttered with graphics or text. If it is a speech, the speaker has poor communication skills (e.g., cannot be heard, mumbles, makes numerous grammar and pronunciation errors).
Fair

The presentation is fairly organized but does not stay within the one-minute time limit. If it is a skit, the players sometimes forget their lines. If it is a Power Point show, most of the slides do not progress smoothly or they are somewhat cluttered with too much text or too many graphics. The color combinations of the slides make it difficult to read text. If it is a speech, it is informative but not compelling and the speaker makes several grammar or pronunciation errors.
Good

The presentation is adequate but does not stay within the one-minute time limit. If it is a skit, some of the players know their parts, while others do not. If it is a Power Point show, some of the slides progress smoothly and it is visually attractive, though some of the slides may be too cluttered with graphics or text. If it is a speech, it is compelling and informative, but the speaker makes a few grammar or pronunciation errors.
Excellent

The presentation is well-organized, attention-getting, exciting, and stays within the one-minute time limit. If it is a skit, the players know their parts and perform well. If it is a Power Point show, the slides progress smoothly and it is visually attractive. If it is a speech, it is compelling and the speaker demonstrates excellent communication skills and makes no errors in pronunciation or grammar.
Group Dynamics

Poor

Students in group have frequent arguments which require adult intervention. Students are off task so much of the time that they do not complete the assignment or the quality of their work is poor.
Fair

Students in group occasionally have arguments which require adult intervention. Students need frequent reminders to stay on task to complete their work.
Good

Students work well together. They do not require adult intervention to settle arguments, but they do need occasional reminders to stay on task to complete their work.
Excellent

Students share ideas and respect each other. They require no adult intervention to work through disagreements. They stay on task and complete their work on time and produce a superior product.
