Graphic Organizer	PROFICIENT Filled in all parts of the graphic organizer with at least one word in each box.	NEARING PROFICIENCY Filled in most parts of the graphic organizer. Only one empty box.	DEVELOPING Did not fill in almost all of the grahpic organizer.
Picture	PROFICIENT Drew a picture of the topic.	NEARING PROFICIENCY Drew a picture but was not on topic.	DEVELOPING Did not draw a picture.
Writing	PROFICIENT Wrote at least four sentences and stayed on topic.	NEARING PROFICIENCY Wrote two to three sentences and stayed on topic.	DEVELOPING Wrote less than two sentences and/or did not stay on topic.
Behavior	PROFICIENT Paid close attention to instructions and asked questions when needed. Followed directions in the order given.	NEARING PROFICIENCY Listened to instructions but did not complete all directions.	DEVELOPING Did not listen to instructions and only followed directions when prompted by teacher.
