Web Design Graphic Organizer	Poor Information not recorded on web design and/or not stuctured by categories.	Satisfactory Information is entered on web design, but the structure is incomplete and/or the categories are not well structured or relevant to the topic.	Excellent The web design is completely filled in and the information is structured in distinct categories and is relevant to the topic.
Introduction of Essay	Poor Introduction is either missing or is too weak; does not introduce the main topic of the body or does not bring clear focus to the topic of the essay.	Satisfactory Information contains either general statements focusing on the topic or a thesis statement that is relevant to the body of the essay, but, perhaps, not both.	Excellent Introduction is interesting, well-formed with general statements focusing on topic, and the thesis statement is relevant to the body of the essay.
Content	Poor Essay does not address enough pertinent or relevant information regarding the biographical profile of chosen character.	Satisfactory Essay adequately addresses pertinent and relevant information regarding the biographical profile of chosen character.	Excellent Thoroughly addresses pertinent and relevant information of biographical character; plus many interesting facts that enhance the biographical essay.
Organization/Grammar/Mechanics	Poor Essay lacks sufficient organization and contains few, if any, transitional devices. Grammar and mechanical errors impede understanding for the reader.	Satisfactory Essay is sufficiently well organized, and includes transitional devices. Few grammar or mechanical errors to impede understanding for reader.	Excellent Essay is very well organized and includes several transition devices. Very few or no grammatical or mechanical errors. Totally enjoyable reading for reader.
