CLHS Rehearsal Rubric
	Advanced 5 pts	Proficient 4 pts	Emerging 3 pts
On Time	Advanced Student is always on time and ready for rehearsal at the bell.	Proficient Student is not ready by the rehearsal start time at the bell.	Emerging Student is late to rehearsal.
Prepared	Advanced Student has music, folder and pencil at every rehearsal	Proficient Student forgets does not have music, folder or pencil ready at the start of rehearsal.	Emerging Student doesn't come to rehearsal and take out his/her msic, folder or pencil at all during the rehearsal.
Participation	Advanced Student displays an attentive attitude and puts forth a high level of effort. Student shows initiative in completing solfege ex. without complaining and uses hand signs while singing solfege ex.	Proficient Student displays an attentive effort for the majority of rehearsal, and shows a satisfactory level of effort in completing solfege ex.	Emerging Student is often distracted, talks when others are talking, or does not demonstrate an appropriate level of effort in rehearsal.
Vocal Technique	Advanced Student demonstrates excellent posture, breath support, vowel placement, diction and tone quality.	Proficient Student demonstrates good posture, breath support, vowel placement, diction and tone quality.	Emerging Student demonstrates poor posture, breath support, vowel placement,diction and tone quality.
General Attitude	Advanced Shows leadership qualities and a positive attitude. Is a mature student who sets the example for others.	Proficient Has a good attitude most of the time and is pleasant during rehearsal.	Emerging Attitude varies from rehearsal to rehearsal. Some days are positive while other days a lack of maturity and respect are exhibited.
