Number of Sentences Must have 5 French sentences following the format given.	Mal Student has less than 0-1 sentences.	Bien Student has 2 sentences.	Très Bien Student has 3-4 sentences.	Fantastique! Student has 5 sentences.
Masculine/Feminine and Singular/Pl Sentences must use nouns with the appropriate usage of gender and number.	Mal The majority of sentences did not have nouns and/or verbs that matched in number or gender.	Bien Some sentences did not have nouns and/or verbs that matched in number or gender.	Très Bien Most sentences used gender and number appropriately.	Fantastique! Exceptional usage of gender and number used in each sentence (nouns/verbs matched in number/gender).
Grammar Order of colours/prepositions/adjectives	Mal Student makes more than 8 grammatical errors. Is unable to place items in the correct order.	Bien Student makes 5 to 8 grammatical errors. Only demonstrates basic knowledge of putting items in order.	Très Bien Student makes 3 to 4 grammatical errors. Proficiently places items in the correct order.	Fantastique! Student makes less than one error. Consistently and exceptionally writes sentences that have items in the correct order. Follows the template well.
Artistic Effort Demonstrates neat, coloured and creative images.	Mal Inconsistently uses colour, neatness and creativity in le jour de souvenir images.
