a. Instruct the patient NOT TO move the treatment part, NOT TO touch the output cables or the power cord & the machine, NOT TO sleep during the treatment. b. Inform the patient that he/she should feel only warmth. c. Warn the patient if he/she sleeps/not reporting the feeling of warmth/not using the signalling device appropriately during the treatment; there is a chance of getting blister/burns over the treatment area.

Use towels/felt pads that are dry & to provide spacing between the patient skin & the electrodes. e. Make sure the output cables are not touching each other & also not crossing with each other. f. Periodically ask patient if feeling of warmth is too vigorous or comfortable.
a. As the treatment time is over, turn the intensity/dosage level to ZERO, switch OFF the machine & move away from the patient. b. Remove the electrodes, output cables & materials used for draping form the patient. c. Inspect the treatment area for any adverse reactions like blisters/burns/rashes/etc. d. Ask the patient to maintain the same position for minutes (In order to avoid postural hypotension) & then to sit/stand. e. Keep all the collected materials to its origin
