Topic clearly evident	Excellent Work The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. Examples and historic perspectives are included.	Good Work The poster includes all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized or easily understood.	Fair Does not have all of the relevant information on the topic of the poster. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion	Needs improvement The poster is lacking in important information about the topic.
Lettering/Neatness	Excellent Work The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the student has exhibited time and effort into the project.	Good Work The work was done with good effort that shows what the student is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the student is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Needs improvement Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Creativity	Excellent Work Eye catching. Great use of graphics/pictures, and spacing for poster. Creativity is shown to in every area on the poster. Writing is neatly done.	Good Work A selection of graphics/pictures are well thought out, however, the writing/lettering could be neater and straighter.	Fair Not very appealing. Limited use of graphic/pictures. Not a lot of graphics/pictures. Most of the lettering is messy and hard to read.	Needs improvement The poster lacks original creativity Not good use of space on the poster. Messy.
Format/presentation	Excellent Work Poster is of exceptional quality and presentation. Nothing hanging or falling off. All of the graphics/pictures are neatly and carefully adhered to the poster	Good Work The Poster is somewhat neatly laid out. Pictures/graphics are not carefully cut out and are uneven in spots.	Fair Poster is damaged, poorly presented. Some items possibly falling off.	Needs improvement Not on required poster paper or appears incomplete Pieces/items falling or hanging off.
