PowerPoint Presentation Rubric 
The students will put together a Powerpoint for a presentation presented to their classmates. The PP will contain relevant information according to instructions and will be directly related to the their assigned topic on Environmental Pollution. The PP will be designed during 2 class period at school and can be tweaked at home and prepared for presentations on the first week of october.

the Powerpoint shows important details to the presentation, but not all information was written to each slide so the presenter only reads aloud in class.

Student may use original photos, and if the photos are downloaded from the internet, student appropriately sited the sources.

Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design. Most of the images/writing is very plain.

Contains students own writing and creative choice of images.Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating an artistic PP.

Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, and spacing on powerpoint. Images are thought porvoking & is extremely neat. used appropriate font and background. Shows the student can express ideas through clear pictures.

Used all class time well. Always stayed focused and on task.
Graphics

Presenter showed pictures that are appropriate and engaging.

No Graphics included in project to help enhance the project. Maybe included inappropriate graphics.

Some graphics were included but don't really help get a feel for the topic.

Most graphics are related to topic and help the audience to understand the subject matter.
Proficient with Distinction

Many graphics used and helped to enhance the PP and understnaing of the topic. The audience can get the feel and thorough understanding of subject from graphics.
