Punctuation Boot Camp Your group will develop a lesson for one element of punctuation. Your group will present information on that subject to the class, then design an activity for the students to practice it. Students will then do a worksheet (your choice from the Grammar for Writing workbook) to assess their comprehension of your lesson. You, as the instructor, will be exempt from that worksheet, but you will be called upon to be the expert on that topic and answer other students' questions. 	Poor 3 pts	Fair 5 pts	Good 10 pts
Accuracy of Information	Poor Most information is inaccurate.	Fair Most information is accurate.	Good All information is accurate.
Quality of Presentation	Poor Information is presented in a way that is not compelling (read from the book, a Word document, etc.).	Fair Information is presented in a way that is somewhat interesting. (A plain PowerPoint, for instance)	Good Information is creatively and compellingly presented in an interesting format (a well done PowerPoint or some other medium).
Quality of Activity	Poor The activity is either not engaging or is not related to the lesson.	Fair The class is led in an engaging activity that is related to the lesson.	Good The class is led in an engaging activity that reinforces the lesson.
Support	Poor The student does not engage with the class. They answer few or no questions. They do not monitor student understanding.	Fair The student acts an authority on the topic. They answer some questions, but cannot answer all questions. They may do some monitoring of student understanding.	Good The student acts as an expert on the topic. They engage with the other students, monitor progress, and answer questions.
