Oral History Project Oral History Project Students will choose a topic and interview a family or community member for information concerning family, school, or community history. This may include family, school, or community traditions, as well as other approved, student-chosen topics. Students will create interview questions and turn in one digital visual. Summary of Learning 10 % At least a one page summary report, documenting student learning, including responses to interview questions, as well as all notes taken from print sources. Fragments or run-on sentences are present.	Standard Report has somewhat of an introduction but leaves questions for the reader regarding the specifics of what was learned. Exceptional Report includes a well written introduction that proves the research to be a learning experience; transitions help the report flow. There are no grammar or spelling mistakes, and several "Wow" words are used. Proper sentence structure is used.
Citation 10 % Credit is given correctly.	Does Not Meet Requirements Multiple problems with citation but does not fall under plagarism. *If it is deemed that the student plagarized, the school's discipline policy will be enforced.	Improvement Needed The information is cited but not on a separate page.	Standard The works cited page is turned in but not in correct format.	Good Work The works cited page is included but has some formatting mistakes.	Exceptional The works cited page is in MLA format.
