The student did their best work. The painting was of great quality for that students ability.
Color expressing
different moods
Poor
The student does not understand subjective color and has reflected this in their work.
Fair
The student understands the term subjective color, yet their work does not demonstrate a use of painting to express a mood in either painting.
Good
The student understands the term subjective color and has displayed this with the competent expression of differing moods in the two paintings.
Excellent
The student understands the term subjective color and has displayed this with the use of color in expressing moods exceptionally.
Use of class time.
Poor
The student was not on task the majority of class time.
Fair
The student was on task some of the time. (About 50% of the class time).
Good
The student was somewhat on task during class time. (About 75% of the class time).
Excellent
The student was on task the majority of class time.
