Content 20 pts Make the information about the family members relevant and accurate.	Excellent Student writes clear information about each family member, using knowledge gained from the class to create meaning.	Good Student writes clear information about most family members, using knowledge gained from the class to create meaning.	Fair Student writes clear information about half of the family members, using knowledge gained from the class to create meaning.	Poor Student writes some clear information about some family members, but information may not show understanding of the meaning.	Unacceptable Student does not write clear information about any family members.
Vocabulary 15 pts Use appropriate vocabulary to describe the family members and their relationships to you.	Excellent Student uses vocabulary correctly.	Good Student makes 1-2 errors in vocabulary choice.	Fair Student makes 3-4 errors in vocabulary choice.	Poor Student only uses a few Spanish words correctly.	Unacceptable Student does not use Spanish vocabulary correctly to describe the family members.
Grammar and Spelling 20 pts Edit your work to ensure that grammar and spelling errors are eliminated.	Excellent Student shows signs of editing. Fewer than 3 errors in spelling/grammar are present.	Good Student shows some signs of editing. 3-6 errors in spelling/grammar are present.	Fair Student shows mininmal signs of editing. 7-10 errors in spelling/grammar are present.	Poor Student shows minimal signs of editing. 11-17 spelling/grammar errors are present.	Unacceptable Student creates a presentation that has not been edited. More than 17 errors in spelling/grammar are present.
Creativity 10 pts Use the technology to make a unique presentation.	Excellent Student incorporates varied technological components and creative thoughts to create a serious and unique presentation.	Good Student creates an interesting presentation that is not unique from the majority of others.	Fair Student creates a presentation that uses a similar format througout.	Poor Student creates a presentation that has a mundane layout, without variety.	Unacceptable Student does not create a presentation.
Requirements 15 pts Include all required components.	Excellent Student includes all required details about 6 family members, and tree included all 3 generations.	Good Student includes most of the required details about 6 family members. It is missing 1 or 2 parts of a generation.	Fair Student includes some details about 6 family members. Missing entire generation,	Poor Student includes some detail about some family members.	Unacceptable Student does not include any required detail or does not create a PowerPoint
Present to the class 20 pts Present your family tree and detailed information to the class in Spanish.	Excellent Student uses Spanish to present the information to the class with poise and confidence.	Good Student uses Spanish to present the information to the class with some hesitation. It was understandable and clear.	Fair Student uses mostly Spanish to present the information to the class. Presentation was sometimes unclear or incomplete.	Poor Student uses some Spanish in presentation to the class. Or student used vocabulary or grammar above or below the required level.	Unacceptable Student fails to present the information to the class. Or presented in English, or incomprehensible Spanish. or the presentation was read.
