Photography Your task is to find an every day object from school, home or in nature and capture it in a photograph. You should use composition, space, scale and content to create a unique take on that everyday object. Remember to use your camera like the viewfinder, look at thing in various angles. How do things look centered or cut off the page. Turn your camera diagonal, get on the ground and shoot upwads... the options are endless !! Composition	Fair The photograph shows little attention to composition. There is no real sense of focus, the student did not seem to make an effort to create a dynamic composition	Good The photograph shows an attempt to create a dynamic composition. The artist created a photograph that is more than just a snapshot.	Excellent The photograph shows excellent composition. The elements included are positioned in a unique way that adds to the artistic aspect of the piece.
Space	Fair No sense of space, the photo shows little attention to capturing and creating space.	Good Good use of space. The photo is intended to feel far and spacious, or is a close up, or the photo shows foreground, middle ground and distance.	Excellent Excellent use of space. Photo is an extreme close up, far off (landscape) or a dynamic combonation of the two. The space relates to the composition.
Content	Fair No spefic subject matter, random content, no message.	Good The artist attempts to convey a message or idea through their photo by using spefic content and subject matter.	Excellent The photograph shows a spefic content (subject) The content conveys a message, makes the viewer feel an emotion or otherwise brings the viewer into the world of the photographer
Creativity	Fair Little to none. Looks like a snap shot. No attempt at finding unique subject matter.	Good The artist has presented a unique view of an every day object. Through angles, positioning and scale.	Excellent The artist has shown us an unexpected or even suprising view of an every day object. Through angle, positioning and scale. The photo makes the viewer look at the subject in a new and exciting way.
