Scapular elevation

Hand cupped over shoulder, other hand on scapula. Moved in proper speed and to end range.
Scapular protraction
Good
Client's hand under your elbow tucked into your trunk, your hand under their elbow, other hand on medial border of scapula, go to end range and use proper speed.
Scapular rotation
Good
protract scpapula then move your hands to hold client elbow and hand, externally rotate humerus and elevate arm.
Scapula in supine position
Good
Scapula elevation and depression, scapular protraction and upward rotation.
Protect shoulder

Bed positioning, proper positioning in w/c, arm on laptray, sit to stand.
Shoulder precautions
Good
never pull on arm. avoid placing your arms under their arms. avoid slings, avoid arm troughs, don't force painful ROM, don't raise arm in flexion or abduction without external rotation of humerus, don't raise past 90 without scapula gliding, don't use overhead pulleys.
