Media Terms and Concepts Understands terms and concepts to describe media.	50-59 Student understands limited terms and concepts to describe media.	60-69 Student understands basic terms and concepts to describe media.	70-79 Student has a good understanding of terms and concepts to describe media.	80-100 Student has extensive understanding of terms and concepts to describe media.
Media Messages Analyzes, questions, evaluates, and thinks critically about select media and their messages.	50-59 Student analyzes, questions, evaluates, and thinks critically about select media and their messages with limited effectiveness.	60-69 Student analyzes, questions, evaluates and thinks critically about select media and their messages with some effectiveness.	70-79 Student analyzes, questions, evaluates and thinks critically about select media and their messages with effectiveness.	80-100 Student somewhat analyzes, questions, evaluates and thinks critically about select media and their messages with a high degree of effectiveness.
