Student has a stronghold on the content and content is thoroughly addressed. No mistakes are made with regard to content knowledge and grammer. Content contains all information concerning topic.

Student has a basic understanding of the content. Content is missing minor elements or contains minor errors. The Main Idea/Topic is supported.

Student has only a superficial or limited understanding of content. Several mistakes were made in content and grammar. Topic was not supported.
Poor
Student has little to no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation. Topic nor any relevant information was introduced.
Conclusion

Excellent
Conclusion reviews information presented, restates the thesis, and ends with a definitive statement (not, "That's it.").
Good
Conclusion fails to do ONE of the following: review main points, restate the main idea and topic, or end with a definitive statement.
OK
Conclusion fails to do TWO of the following: review main points, restate the main idea and topic, or end with a definitive statement.
Poor
Speech ends without an official conclusion.
Historical Information
20 pts
Excellent
The information in the paper is relevant and historically correct. Dates, times, geograqphy, key players, the main idea or Thesis and all information of the topic is clearly stated, outlined, introduced and supported.
Good
The information fails to support the main idea or contain three or more accurate historical statements to prove the information is correct.
OK
The information is loosley interprested or not all accurate historically.
Poor
The information is not historicaly correct or supported.
