Greeting - Hello! Students greet others properly Hola!	Exceptional Proper greeting with near-perfect pronunciation.	Good Proper greeting, poor pronunciation, or Improper greeting, but good effort and pronunciation.	Poor No greeting, little-to-no effort.
Greeting - Good Day or Afternoon Students greet others properly Buenas Dias or Buenas Tardes!	Exceptional Proper greeting with near-perfect pronunciation.	Good Proper greeting, poor pronunciation, or Improper greeting, but good effort and pronunciation.	Poor No greeting, little-to-no effort.
Inquiry - How are you doing? Students inquire of the other person, How are you? "Como estas?"	Exceptional Students inquire of the other person, How are you? Or What are you like? With good pronunciation and genuine interest.	Good Students inquire of the other person, How are you? Or What are you like? With acceptable-poor pronunciation.	Poor Improper statement, or none at all.
