Group Dance Rubric- Peer Dance Rubric- Theme Dance The dances will be graded upon its set up that includes ability to incorporate the right combination of steps and moves in accordance with the music , group effort, and musical form. Rhythm/Tempo/Beat 3 pts Ability to stay in time with the music	LEVEL 1 The group attempts to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Doesn't follow beat in music.	LEVEL 2 The group shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but sometimes falls behind and/or speeds up in places or makes errors in rhythm.	LEVEL 3 Accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences.
Form 3 pts Organization of dance steps to form of music.	LEVEL 1 Organization of dance steps don't follow the form of the music.	LEVEL 2 Organization of dance steps follow the form of the music some of the time.	LEVEL 3 Organization of dance steps fit the form of the music throughout the dance.
Group Performance 3 pts	LEVEL 1 Dance looked as though the group did not utilize rehearsal time. Not insync.	LEVEL 2 Dance looked though the group utilize rehearsal time some of the time. Not quite together.	LEVEL 3 Dance looked as though the group fully utilized rehearsal time. Solid performance.
